It’s just me….
Flowers in December holds a great deal of meaning for me as it is a song that is by Mazzy Star and one that truly touched my heart when my daughter was buried on Dec. 2. I thought it befitting to name this blog this because every time I write I know I have an angel over my shoulder reading my every thought. I’ve never said goodbye to her and I never will, the next time I will see her I will tell her how long it’s been since I’ve seen her. I’ll brush her blonde hair away from her eyes with a mother’s tender hand and smile as I say a long awaited hello.
You’ll find my blog is not going to be always correct in all it’s English grammar, in all it’s punctuation or whatever else it is that our editors take care of for us. I’m human just like you and will make mistakes – being an author doesn’t make you an authority on perfection. There’s only one person I know who is that perfect in his ways and that is God, so when he starts writing my words for me you can bet they will be the most eloquent, most edited, most profound words you will ever come to hear.
